February 18, 2011-UHPA Resolution Urges UH Administration To Settle Data Breach Lawsuit And Provide Data Breach Victimss With The Necessary Tools To Protect Themselves Against The Fraudulent Use Of Data Obtained Because Of The Breaches

A resolution by the University of Hawaii Professional Assembly sent to UH President M.R.C. Greenwood urges the UH Administration to settle the class action data breach lawsuit and to provide the necessary tools to protect the victims of the data breaches against the fraudulent use of data obtained as a result of the breaches. UHPA's resolution also requests that the University administration implement the appropriate technical support, equipment, software, monitoring and training to create a state of the art secured system among all campuses that protects personal information, research, and intellectual properties.
